The Historic festival "La Zaragutia Mora" of Alconchel, is a festival with history of the province of Badajoz that is celebrated on August 14 of each year and where the medieval history of the city and its castle during the 12th-15th centuries is recalled by historical recreations, avoiding that it is a decoration with elements lacking a genuine historical interest and having as an axis argument the ghostly figure of the Zaragutia Mora, a character of legend that is still remembered in the language of the town's population.
